FALLOUT 3!!!!!@!@!@!@!@!@!@
Jul. 13th, 2004 08:46 amBethesda Softworks, makers of, among other things, Morrowind, has bought the license to Fallout 3 from now-essentially-defunct Interplay.
They will be releasing Fallout 3 along with the next Elder Scrolls game. Hooray!
Details in the press release here.
(...and maybe they won't screw it up too much. Heh.)

Date: 2004-07-13 11:27 am (UTC)Maybe the day when someone picks up Darklands out of whatever deep vault Hasbro has it hidden is getting closer, too. And, while i'm wishing, i want to see sequels to Torment and Grim Fandango, `kthx.

Date: 2004-07-14 05:18 am (UTC)Morrowind (and if you actually played enough of Daggerfall to determined if you'd like it, and did like it, you'll also like Morrowind) was pretty good. It's also been out long enough that it's been thoroughly patched, and is quite playable. I spent WAY too much of the early part of this year trudging back and forth across that damn island beating things and talking to people...
