spoke too soon!
Feb. 26th, 2004 09:35 amLoad seven, in the car waiting to be dumped.
Tomorrow no junk-dumping, though, for I will be picking up Mister Vroomy from the body shop. How nice it will be to drive my own car and be able to listen to CDs again, and not just the iPod through the cheesy cassette adaptor (i.e. I can go buy CDs and listen to them on the way home).

Date: 2004-02-26 09:32 am (UTC)Oh yes.
It was very annoying when I was in Oregon-- I got in the car, said, "Ah HA! Now I shall plug in my iPod and listen!" And lo, there was no cassette deck, and I had no CDs with me because, ha, I was just going to use my iPod.
So when I convinced them to give me a cheap car for this rental, I was quite happy to see the tape deck AND that I still had the tape adaptor in my bag from when we went a-roamin'.
Such thrills. Mister Vroomy is still nicer.
