And it's in Australia!

Dang. Now I wish I'd actually gone into systems administration. A hundred thousand a year in Australia, working for whoever put that ad together.

Australian Dollars are small and useless objects, and that ad's by a particularly entertaining pimp rather than anyone you'd be working with.

It's still $75,000 American, and, while I'm not finding any actual cost-of-living comparison calculators that don't want me to pay for their reports, what I'm gleaning is that most of Australia is less than 75% as expesive as Boston -- even WITH the 10% GST.

Let's just say that AU$50k is enough to live comfortably, so yeah, $100k is pretty good money.

Almost enough to buy a house where I live, even.

If you live in London, sure...

(But then again, what would you be doing being paid in AUD while living in London?)

Only someone who doesn't have a personal orbit jet would ask that question.
