Good.

Ouch. What happened? I hope you weren't the one at-fault so your auto insurance won't be insanely expensive.

Bad corner on a twisty road... I'll sum up more at some point soon...

And yeah, I hope so too. I know I was going really slowly, since I had the sun in my eyes and I was watching the side of the road...

Looks like a head-on side swipe. Glad you're okay.

They'll fix up Mr Vroomy like new at the Saturn/Lego factory.

Let's just snap this piece off, and this one right on.

Looks like just cosmetic damage and nothing too serious too the car. Great for you and the car. Not so great if you were looking for an excuse to replace it.

Impressive peeling.

I Am Not An Expert, but it looks like there isn't any real frame damage. So you'll need a new door and some panelling, but possibly not much more than that.

Is this a car that has a frame, though, or is it unibody?

That one is a frame design not a unibody, if I recall correctly. Either way, it doesn't look like that would have been damaged. The hood looks fine which is an important clue.

Glad you're ok, and that Mr. Vroomy did what he was supposed to do - snap apart, rather than come crushing in on you.

Don't get too caught up in worrying about the damages and how serious it is. Remember, crashes are fun! (Barring injury which may balance that out.)

Did you get to spin the car around and shout 'Wheeeeeeee!' as you slid away from the other car? :)

No, unfortunately, I mostly pulled over and thought, "Aw, shit."
