icon-o-riffic
Jan. 16th, 2004 09:32 pmGiven my laptop (with Photoshop) and any image that scales reasonably well, I can give you a 100x100 LJ icon within about 30 seconds. Right now, in fact, I have a little stash of icons I'm not using. If anyone wants to use one of them, let me know and go for it...

(OH - I've had a xmas gifty thing for you and Ford that I keep forgetting to give you. I had it at the last gathering we were all at, and then last night at the Shoe... Sunday I'd better remember...)

Date: 2004-01-16 06:53 pm (UTC)There is also 'TiVo Logo with outline' if that works better. (It is for a black background so I'm trying to find something with the background transparent that could work on different dark backgrounds.)

Date: 2004-01-16 06:56 pm (UTC)Okay, give me a minute to give it a try. I'll see what I can do. 8)

Well, shoot, THAT was easy. 8)
And that'll give you incentive to come to dinner Sunday...

Date: 2004-01-16 07:06 pm (UTC)Uhhhhh. Okay.
It displays in everything else I can run here. I bet it's mozilla being lame.
Can you wget it and display it that way, or otherwise download it?
Weird. I used photoshop, the same as everything else...

Date: 2004-01-17 06:22 am (UTC)Okay, the color data _DID_ get munged. I'll get the original photoshop doc and look at it again.
OOOOh, I see what they did. Okay, there are multiple layers in this document, and each one is a separate entire logo. One is color, one is mono...
I don't know why you thought there was supposed to be a transparent background... Aside from .jpgs not doing transparent, that document has a blue background in the little image there and in the document itself...
All right-- I have learned NEW THINGS! Go me! Dig if you will this picture!
4K, gif, transparent background, white glow, so mr. tivo will stand out Against A Dark Background (by Iain Banks-- recommended), and all that. Give it a try whenever you drag yourself out of bed, please? 8)

Date: 2004-01-16 07:20 pm (UTC)Weird.
I dunno. It looks okay on my Mac. I'm sure that means it's a Mozilla problem.

Well, I exported it using "Save For Web," if you want to check again. Strange.
