I ordered iLife 04 and a MIDI interface via expedited (2nd-day) shipping from Apple today.

Apple sends out invoices and status messages as they go. In the case of multipart orders where some pieces are in stock and others aren not, they send status messages as each part ships. I received the first of these status messages a few minutes ago.

They appear to have shipped my expedited shipping first. I can't wait.

Be sure to post your impressions of GarageBand (seems like a dumb name, not to mention completely out of sync with the rest) -- it's the only part of it that seems at all interesting to me at the moment, but I don't feel like handing over cash quite yet.

We had the demo satellite broadcast on for some reason yesterday, and I watched some of it, it looks nifty.
