I guess your nerdy girl delights will have to wait until another time. 8)
(Actually, if you actually want to compare schedules, let me know, although since I work at a school, chances are mine will be somewhat more restrictive than people who merely attend schools...)
There are a bunch of differences. Geeks aren't completely socially inept and they have more of a personality. While nerds are book smart, I think that geeks have both book smarts and common sense.
Interesting... over at the_hot_nerds, the group seems to have decided that, generally:
Nerd = book smarts and academic fascinations, Geek = fixations on counter-culture and geek hobbies, Dork = some combination of geek and nerd, taken to unhealthy extremes, and with a lot less social grace.
Hmm. I'd pretty much agree with that, considering I will usually say I nerd out on my copies of "American Scientist" when they arrive in the mailk, and geek out on email or anything computerish.
oh yeah, that reminds me, i'm really sad i have to miss friday's showing of READ OR DIE at animefest. it's about a SUPAR Librarian! (from what i've read, anyways. haven't seen it... yet.)
and it also reminds me of a shirt dariusk has that says "i make passes at girls with glasses." that rules.
