command-tab works right now, and is much quicker than before.

expose is GREAT.

um, what else? TinkerTool is useful, and worth a download.

I just installed Win2K and a wireless card on a laptop. Comparing that to installing Panther reminds me why I like Macs, as if I needed another reminder...

Oh? Is it customizable now? Or did they change it to something completely different again?

It reacts more rapidly, and uses a largish translucent window with big icons in it rather than just moving a teeeensy weensy arrow in the dock to let you know which application you're about to select, as [livejournal.com profile] blarglefiend notes below...

Actually, it feels slower to me than the old way, and at least on my setup the previous version also wrote the name of the to-be-selected app next to the icon, so it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

This is the one thing that feels slightly less responsive to me, but I've gotten over it.

Thing is, right, I don't understand why some little freeware app was moaning about Apple 'copying' their idea for apple+tab doing that when Windows has blatantly done the same thing for, like, ever.

OSX is so shiny. Though I still can't stand OS9, so I can both be converted and not have to take back my previous opinions.

Yeah, OSX is definitely turning into everything the Mac should have been...

The command-tab thing took some getting used to -- I was so used to the old behaviour, and I still automatically look over to the left (where I keep my Dock) when using it to see what I'm selecting...
