I think I might actually be able to get to sleep now. Just in time to not get nearly enough rest for the meeting we usually have at 9:00 Monday mornings. I suspect I won't make it. I'm going to turn off my alarm and see when I wake up. Ideally, I'll be feeling less gross by then. I'm much better now, but still not particularly settled.

At least I had pleasant (online) company, thanks to a fellow wakeful person.

Off I go...

I was still up at this point, too. The Princess decided she did not want to eat, despite the hunger that gnawed at her little tummy. Instead, she screamed and "attacked" (as much as little babies can) me for over an hour. Eventually I won the battle and she ate and fell asleep at precisely 3:26 pm.

It is amazing how late I can stay up when under the influence of procrastination, caffeine, and rancid yogurt! Hee.

Yay! 8)

I'm making green tea now. I have the kind with rice in it. It's pleasantly starchy and has a really neat dry smell.

For future reference, ginger is your friend when your tummy hates you. i swear by it, and i have the fussiest tummy EVAR. I have ginger candies in my purse for this very purpose. Also try ginger tea. ginger ginger ginger. yum yum.

(Peppermint is your friend when your intestines hate you, but that's another post.)

hope you are feeling better soon.
