An old project has resurfaced.

The guy who did the images for that site linked there contacted me asking if I could give them a hand with fixing up the back-end perl code.

I REALLY don't want to deal with the owner of that site again. She's extremely frustrating. But, I'm hardly going to turn down spare income at this point. Of course, in the four years since I wrote the back-end for that site, several unnamed programmers have made changes throughout the code. The guy who contacted me described it as a "quagmire."

So, I named a ridiculous hourly rate and demanded everything in writing, in order to avoid the dreaded "Oh, we need this to all change now and what do you mean I signed off on it last week?" problem that drove us up the wall back in the Lizard Database and Web days...

I figure if I end up working on it, it's a spare house payment or two. If I don't, no stress.

So, I now know my price for being annoyed. If anyone else wants to be really annoying at me while I do work for you, I'll give you the same rates. Let me know.
