The music from Tron is FUCKING GREAT. Go Wendy!

I read about this, and now I want to do it-- a guy took blue electroluminescent wire (like this stuff) and outlined his office in the cube farm with it, so it was like the Tron Office. Maaaan. How cool is that?

Ha, sorry. I don't remember... Probably some goofy forum I came across while obsessing over case modding.

One of my coworkers kept using "end of line" to end his communication, not only in e-mail but also on the phone. I wanted to belt him one in the mouth.

well, i've used it in a Stars! game, but that's as far as it goes.

And my first thought is, can I use said wire on a motorcycle, maybe in the middle of a V-twin engine or along the frame?

Gah, I'm so hooked ;)

While wandering through Providence one evening, near the big biker club next to Brown, I noticed that more than one of the bikes zipping by had glowy blue bits in and around the frame and engine block.

Thus, I suspect the answer is yes. 8)

That's where all that cold cathode neon stuff that's used in PC modding came from, anyway-- it's the same stuff used to make car undercarriages glow blue...

I watched a bunch of shows about choppers over the weekend, and it's a fairly common thing to put lights between the cylinders. I was wondering if this specific item could be used for the purpose tho, as it's not very expensive. If it's used for car undercarrages then certainly I could put it wherever I feel like on a bike (unless it sucks a lot more juice than I'm guessing it would). I'm pondering trying to put it on the forks, and if it was possible to put it on the rims in some nifty pattern that would completely rock my socks. (I'm guessing that's well-nigh infeasable, tho, since it has to hook up to a power source of some sort)
