Is that for real, or is the artist a masochist and her friends merely keeping her happy by being vicious?

The actual painting doesn't do much for me one way or the other, but I'm a landscapes guy anyway. The artist is pretty cute, though.

It was an experiment. She posted that privately, asked us to flame her into the ground over her painting, and then changed the permissions and pointed other people at it to see if random other people would defend her or join in the attack. So it's somewhere between a social experiment and trolling. We caught a few, and I'm actually pretty relieved to see that most people defended her...

And yep, she's cute. 8) Lives in Boston, too...
