My ridiculous video game system is coming together.

Today the CPU (an AthlonXP 3000+, roughtly 2.2GHz), RAM (1GB PC3200 RAM), and hard disk (120GB Seagate Barracuda) showed up.

Now all I need is the case and motherboard and the video card...

Shuttle has a nice new case that looks pretty decent. Plus side of the SFF systems is portability when hitting the lan parties....
I just finished putting together an Athlon 2800 system with some similar bits to what you are doing, but I'm going to purpose it as a PVR as well, so I need to get an older ATI all-in-wonder at some point...

Yeah, I'm throwing all this hardware in Shuttle's SN45G, which will be arriving Monday. 8)

You could try throwing it all in a pile together with a game cd and a mouse / keyboard / joystick / virtual reality headset (whatever you need) and wishing really hard that it'll let you play *right now*... :)
