I hear you New England folks had some snow recently. This weekend in California, which was, incidentally, a 3-day weekend to start with, it was 75 degrees out. We went to the park and the boy played and we had a generally nice time. I got some beers, hung out in the back yard and read a bit while the boy played in the sun.

My smugness is somewhat offset by the astonishing stomach virus I picked up somewhere along the way, which has led to vomiting every one or two hours since last night.
