And so it begins...
Sep. 10th, 2009 02:00 pmNow that I have a laptop with a larger drive, I can put more music on it. And I've done so by sucking in music from my work machine. But now I have more music on my laptop than can fit on my old 80GB iPod. (Actually, it's right at 80 if I don't sync podcasts, and after I went through and culled some crappy bootlegs I can't listen to and duplicate songs from having slightly differently-named versions of the same album on work and home systems.)
Thus, I now require a larger iPod. Conveniently Apple has just released a 160GB version of the iPod Classic.
This is, however, me not actually buying one right now.
Having mentioned this though, I now expect my old iPod to crap out basically any time now. (It's been 3 or-- this is a new record! I think that getting it and a thick rubber protective skin for it at the same time and then never ever taking it out of that skin was a good idea.) If it doesn't, though, I can wait. I have more important things going on at the moment...
