also, UK TV
Feb. 5th, 2009 10:28 amSo yesterday morning while getting ready to go out, we had the TV on mostly out of curiosity. I ended up watching one of the strangest pieces of television I've ever seen.
It was a program about the history of Marxism narrated by a couple of animated Gorillaz-type guys using what appeared to be failblog/America's Funniest Home Videos-type footage. So they'd say something like "Europeans cast off the chains of oppression" while the picture showed a car being towed and a guy crouching down by the tow-chain which suddenly snapped sending him falling into the mud. Or "This was a time of great celebration in Europe" and a bunch of people in swim suits, painted with mud, dancing around the shore of a very muddy lake. And so on. It was really something.
Ah, here we go: KNTV: Philosophy. Fantastic.
