Doing my part for the British Economy!
Feb. 2nd, 2009 06:54 pmThat's right, today the British economy lost an estimated 3.8 billion pounds due to all the people who couldn't make it in to work today.
I, however, braved the wintery holocaust and acquired a jacket and some postcards and some groceries and stuff, and thus have done my part to keep this country going. I think my spirits have been bolstered by the incredible collection of Churchill memorabilia we viewed yesterday at Bletchley Park. Stiff upper lip and all that, what? Pip pip, et cetera.
