fish update

I just gave Mr. Fish his nightly antibiotics. I'm a little leery of moving him back into the big tank, since it's much deeper and if he needs to go get air it's farther up... Of course the little bowl is very little, and I have to change the water pretty often. I changed about half of it out this morning and gave him an extra few drops of anti-parasite stuff. You're only supposed to add that every other day, but from being almost invisible, this morning the stuff had become pretty obvious. It's pretty nasty. I'd like to think it's a little better tonight than it was earlier, but it's hard to tell. He's hanging in there, though. He's a tough little dude.

Good luck. My betta passed sometime today - I think he had ich, but he was showing signs of something else as well when I pulled the corpse out of the tank tonight. :( I think one of the plants I brought home with him from the pet store had been in the water with unhealthy fish.

Ack, that's sad. :( And you can't clean plants, either.

I do like your icon. (Did you notice mine? If my little dude dies, it'll probably make me cry every time I see it.)
