google ads
Nov. 3rd, 2008 04:03 pmA pro-Proposition-8 web site the URL for which I will not provide here has apparently bought up a ton of impressions on google ads (or whatever the metric for buying web ad space might be) and made sure that everyone coming in from an identifiable California IP address get handed their repulsive "Protect the family!" bullshit.
I've been sending emails to editors of sites I respect letting them know this. Ideally they'll actually care (or will tell me they support Prop 8, which will give me a good excuse to clean out the bookmark menu).
Still, it's pretty frickin' nasty. Did I say "repulsive" already? Well, here you go again: It's repulsive.
