Home! Alive! Not even sunburned!
And the next time that "What skills do you have that you think other people don't" meme comes through, I have all kinds of new and exciting activities to list.
I will probably dribble random Burning Man thoughts out onto here over the next few days. It was a really fascinating experience, and while I don't think it was a world-shatteringly life-changing experience, it has given me a bunch of stuff to think about (mostly involving what I actually ENJOY, and how I like to take part in that kind of event-- the short form is: I'd rather be part of the infrastructure than a participant, if that makes sense. More on this later). Now that I have a better idea of what to expect, next year will be even cooler.

Date: 2008-09-02 05:43 am (UTC)I used that FNORD caution tape from many-years-ago gweepco xmas swapping to outline our camp site. It was a big hit.

(In fact... that really makes my day. It's the first I know of that any of that tape has been used in a major public venue/situation; that it was at Burning Man is all the sweeter. :)
