Got the internet working in the new place.

Moved the last of our stuff (and the pigs) out of San Jose yesterday. Moved in here, set up the pigs, went to a fancy-pants local grocery and bought a bunch of (predictably enough) wine and fancy foods and then came back and ate them sitting on the floor. We don't have much in the way of furniture at the moment, you see. Right now I'm also sitting on the floor with my laptop on a box.

These have been the best two nights of sleeping since we got to California.

We're out in Santa Cruz. We've got another week or two of TWTF workdays, and then we go to my WTFS schedule.

We don't seem to have working cell phones out here on the coast-- we get lots of bars of signal, but calls don't complete. Very strange.

actually, in a week or two we're going to start doing a CSA thing where we get a box of veggies every week from a local farm. most of the lettuce-y stuff therein will probably go directly to the piggies. so... kinda.
