MIT Flea fun

So that was probably the last MIT Flea I'll be here for. Very sad. :( I bid many farewells and was wished well by a bunch of people. The guy with the table of overpriced video games gave me crap because I sold the old Arp Pro-Soloist to another guy without giving him a chance at it. He was seriously all in my face about it. The thing is, he'd repair it and sell it at his table of stupidly overpriced crap. The guy I sold it to will repair it and play with it.

I also picked up one of these after watching it slowly changing colors for a couple of hours on the table of the seller across the row. He only had one. Now that I'm home, I'm still sitting and staring at it because it is so pretty. So I came home and poked around and found that they make them with the ability to detect and sync up with sound and ordered four of them. (15 bucks! How could I resist?) Yay for pretty lights.

The 25th of May will be my last day at WPI. I'm giving written notice in a couple of days, when Al gets back from his vacation. So we'll be heading off the week after that.

AS I was driving back home tonight, I was thinking about how once you are in California, all but one of my LJ friends will be in our lovely state. On your way here, you might enjoy a stop at Carhenge in Alliance Nebraska. Whimsical and fun. I also really enjoy Goblin Valley State Park in Utah. There's lots of fun stuff to find on your way here :)
