I doubt it. When the administration and Congress are opposite parties, everything comes to a screaming halt - nothing meaningful gets through because neither side wants to do the other any favors.
A screaming halt is better than a rapid spiral down the tubes...
If you want a government where stuff happens, well, you now know how to vote when the next Presidential election comes up. 8)
(I will NOT argue politics with you. We disagree so thoroughly that I would prefer not to get into it because I like you. It's worked for years now, right?)
I swear....I really hope Kerry runs again. I couldnt imagine voting for scarywomanTM (Yeah, Hillary *shudder*). That woman has scared the shit out of me since I was 12.
I'm no fan of Hillary, but Kerry has been a disaster since he won the nomination. Unlike Dole and Gore, he's actually shown LESS charisma since he lost.
I'm a Libertarian that wants anything but Hillary, as long as they have a brain. (I think I should have specified that I still believe Kerry has opened his mouth since losing the election to shove his foot into his mouth to the hip.)
I find now that I shouldnt ahve opened my mouth at all.
Y'know, i'm no fan of gridlock... but the fact that about the only meaningful thing to come out of the previous six years was the National Clean Diesel Campaign, you'll excuse me if i disagree with you.
