How about Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (http://gba.gamespy.com/nintendo-ds/gyakuten-saiban/656661p1.html)? You can shout OBJECTION at the DS when things aren't going your way.

My current killer app is Advance Wars DS, but it's extremely difficult and seems to enjoy kicking my ass.

My AW:DS arrived today, clocked up 3 1/2 hours on it already. And I still need to get Meteos. And Ouendan. And my own Nintendog.

It's really good. I played the Jap version of it, but decided not to bother getting it til it came out in english; the language barrier was just too much. Definitely worth a look.

Meteos and Ouendan are fine in Japanese, although Meteos is now out in the US I believe.
