Don't do what Sigmund did under similar circumstances. You don't have his excuses either - go to the doctor if you haven't. Either way, *hugs* and here's hoping the foot starts behaving.
Last Saturday a two-inch-wide slab of skin finally sloughed off the bottom of my foot, taking with it a significant amount of the plantar's wart that has been my bane since early this year. After this visit, the footy doctor didn't even want a follow-up unless it was pretty obvious we'd missed some.
Ah, OK. Reminds me of what happened with my friend's leg when they finally took the cast off and several month's worth of dead skin was set free (required a shower to actually get it to detatch though). I'm glad the damn thing has finally jumped ship.
Several years ago after a season of field work I had these THICK callouses on my feet. After I returned to a more urban environment, they began to work free, which fascinating, hurty and gross. My brother documented the process with a photograph, which he framed and gave to me as a Christmas gift.
