Yeah, he's an interesting guy. His first solo album ("Weather Systems") has some really lovely music, and the new one is growing on me. And it's not theremin, it's whistling...

When he plays live, it's just him, his violin, and a delay. He builds the structure live, with loops, and then plays over it, switching pieces in and out as he goes... It's really neat to see.

I really liked him when he opened for Kristin Hersh, and i picked up a copy of The Swimming Hour. There's a track on The Arcade Fire's Funeral called "Crown of Love" which is very Andrew Birdish.
