"The 15th," Wire. Woke up with "1 2 X U" kicking around my head, migrated to "Map Ref. 41N 93W" and decided to start the day with 154 and Pink Flag.
This was all triggered by the discovery of the "WIRE on the BOX" CD/DVD set. They aren't exactly the masters of stage presence, although the total apathy evinced by the German audience can't have been particularly inspiring. An interesting document of Wire at that time, though. Good for squinting at their fingers and figuring out the chords, too.
Now I want to play lots of Wire covers while standing nervously behind a microphone.

Oh, yeah, and: "The 15th" is one of the most amazing songs ever. I'm not certain why, but it just is.
