I'm hot-blooded
check it and see
I've got a fever of a hundred and one
Come on baby, do you do more than dance?
If so, can you please bring me a glass of juice and some ibuprofen?

Did you happen to eat funny cheese before you got sick?

No, just normal store-bought cheese.

blue gouda isn't really normal, even if it did come from the store.

I thought you were making up a cute little song about being sick, but LFS recognized it instantly as Foreigner. He spent the next 10 minutes transformed into an 80s superstar, singing me various tunes and rocking out with the chairs in his apartment. I suspect I will be hearing foreigner the rest of the morning.

He recommends you do not make any cheese while you are sick. I recommend sleep, glorious sleep. Get better soon!!!!!

Haw! I'm glad _somebody_ got it. 8)

And yes, I have been sleeping and not cheesing today. About to go watch a movie and then probably go back to sleeeeeep.

*somebody*?

Your post totally earwormed me; but that last line just doesn't fit into the rhythm of the song... just how *does* one sing "ibuprofen" melodically? ;)

Tylenol, anyway, is a better fever reducer; ibuprofen is a better anti-inflammatory.

I wish you lots of juice and chicken soup!

Turns out I was out of ibuprofen anyway, and took lots of tylenol. Yummy yummy tylenol. And, in fact, had juice and onion soup. (We have fake chicken bits around, and [livejournal.com profile] stophittinyrslf has been making tasty fake chicken soups with them, but we didn't have that today...)

Yeah, I had this song stuck in my head while I was sick too. I like your version.

In return I sing to you some of my friend Eric's drinking song:

Drink...

Drink...

Drink, Drink, Drink...

Drink!

Drink!

Drink, Drink, Drink!

Also: Thai Kitchen makes an excellent Ginger Vegetable rice noodle soup which is my soup for when I'm sick. YUM. Easy to make, super tasty, and like 69 cents.
