It is quite compact and efficient. I wonder what the connectors are for, and if there are any daughterboards. I see some very wide connectors on that board...
There's also a space visible on the right side where there's a notch in the side of the board for the modem's phone jack to sit, so it's lined up with the other ports. That looks like it's a daughterboard, which would make sense, since that's the one that's mostly likely to be very different from country to country. I suspect that's the shorter connector right in the middle of the board.
The other two are probably for the hard drive and CD-ROM drive.
