Oh look, autumn.
Sep. 19th, 2004 10:33 amThis morning it was cold-- really cold-- for the first time this year.
In fact, it's cold enough that I went around and made sure nothing was on any of the radiators and turned the heat on. It's warming up nicely, but I guess this means the end of comfortable hanging-out-in-your-underwear season.
Soon it'll be find-my-stompin-boots season, and I'll be able to happily stomp around with very warm feet even in feet of snow. Plus, since they're my ridiculous steel-lined search and rescue boots (HIGHLY recommended! They've lasted me THREE YEARS so far! That's ABSURD for my footwear!), I'll be able to do things like kick cars and tanks and stuff. Very useful in a college system administration context.
