I'm not sure if you were ever going to be a great love of my life, but how could I know one way or another? Can we guess what would have happened if we'd been able to work things out sooner and had a chance to really take a ride on the first couple of months of infatuation? Where would be now? Either way, I certainly don't regret a thing, except that I didn't open up to you as much as I could have. That's all my own fault, though, and certainly none of your own. You were a good friend when I needed one, and I hope I was the same for you. You made my world better when I needed it to be better.
