Yeah, the guy who's been interviewed for that story posted it originally to the b0st0n LJ community. He's kind of annoyed at the amount of press it's gotten, but more annoyed at the Ridiculously Emo picture of him the Globe managed to find.
I saw an interview with both the bus driver and this Winfield kid on the TV news about this. The driver appeared to be sticking to company policy and not pulling out of a scheduled stop ahead of schedule and Winfield seemed like an over-privileged pretentious prick who was unhappy his little bit of day was slightly inconvenienced.
According to the driver, nobody else on the bus had an issue.
